OpenServer en UnixWare ready for "Fusion"
The first step towards a new 32 / 64-bit SCO UNIX is made with the availability
of OpenServer Release 6. The codename for this new release is “Fusion”
and will be the full integration of OpenServer and UnixWare based on the
new 64-bit kernel.
Support for OpenServer and UnixWare releases
SCO will continue to offer support and maintenance packs for current
and older OpenServer and UnixWare releases.
For this purpose SCO has an Update Service and Supplemental Download
page on their web-site. On this page,
SCO posts the latest information about various Supplements containing:
fixes, corrections, patches; Maintenance Packs and Update Packages for
SCO products.
Roadmaps
To get a clear view on the roadmap for SCO UNIX we have divided them
into three groups:
1) Current releases - OpenServer 6
and UnixWare 7.1.4
2) Older releases - OpenServer 5.0.7
and UnixWare 7.1.3
3) Retired releases
